This modern, spacious and bright building was created through a temporary collaboration between several project designers (AUPa, CERAU, Atelier d’Architecture de Genval & Bureau Greisch). We partnered with the general contractor (also a temporary collaboration between BPC Namur and CIT Blaton) for the production and installation of the furniture.
Reception area in the foyer
We crafted and installed a curved reception desk made of high-quality veneer wood in the spacious foyer of the Palace of Justice. The reception desk features a black natural stone shelf and a black skirting board, giving the space a modern and professional appearance.
We also produced various upholstered benches that echo the curved shape of the counter, perfectly coordinating their color with the wood and the red and black elements. The seating arrangement – two semicircular seating areas offset from each other – creates a harmonious and aesthetic environment. Again, the stone shelves are perfectly integrated. The furniture is complemented by various tables and high benches, distributed over two levels in the open foyer.
Courtroom furnishings
Wood also dominates the new courtrooms, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere. We custom-made the entire furnishings, including judges' desks, lecterns, side seating and benches for spectators. The high-quality workmanship and precise assembly by our on-site team guarantee maximum quality and durability.
